Call the restaurant, say what you’d like to eat, and an AI takes the order — then puts it straight into the kitchen’s own system.

Restaurants miss orders every evening, simply because nobody can pick up the phone while the kitchen is busy. This agent picks up instead: a customer calls the restaurant’s normal number, says what they’d like, and an AI takes the order.

It works from the restaurant’s real menu, opening hours and pickup times, fetched while the call is going on. So it only offers dishes that are really available, with the right sizes, extras and prices, and it picks the earliest time the order can be ready. It speaks Dutch and switches to English when the caller does.

Before anything is placed, it reads the order back: the dishes, the name, the total and when it will be ready. Only after a clear yes does the order go through — and that check is done by the system, not by the AI. It then lands in the restaurant’s own order system, exactly like a webshop order. The agent can only place new pickup orders; it cannot change, cancel or refund anything.

Speech and voice come from a specialised voice platform, the thinking from Claude on the studio’s own server. Underneath the restaurant line is a general-purpose agent that connects to almost any system through an API — and because the studio builds those systems too, from CRMs to booking platforms and webshops, it can be wired straight in. Anywhere the phone rings with the same questions every day, an agent can answer.
